Position Summary:
Serve on a support team collaborating with Business Process Owners, Operations and Information Services to design, create, and implement business solutions utilizing technology relative to the ready-mix concrete industry. Responsible for gathering and documenting business requirements, testing and supporting industry specific applications such as Command Batch, Command Series, Command Performance, Trimble, TrackIT. Other duties include defining test plans and quality assurance procedures, and delivering end user documentation and training.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
- Minimum 3 years work experience as a business analyst or direct experience using the Command suite of applications as a functional user
- Experience testing and supporting software applications
- Acquainted with best practices in software development lifecycle methodologies
- Strong analytic and problem solving skills
- Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of subject matter experts, end users, managers and executives
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated and have the ability to drive issues to resolutions
- An understanding of the ready-mix concrete business and operational processes desired
- Knowledge of industry software applications (i.e. Command, Trimble, TrackIt) preferred
- Command Alkon preferred
- Must be able to travel on a limited basis (up to 20%)
