Position Summary:

Responsible for the oversight of the billing of all product lines which includes proper revenue recognition, recording and reporting as well as the hauler payment process.  Requires the ability to trouble shoot system issues and provide recommendations on system design for a multi system environment.  Ability to work in cross-functional teams to ensure all revenue recognition objectives achieved.  Work closely with the inventory accounting team to ensure sales transactions are set up and handled through inventory appropriately.  Manage SOX requirements and documentation of the quote to cash process.   Prepare internal and external reporting and analysis for all sales and freight reporting.  This position will also be responsible for the supervision and mentoring of a staff.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or related discipline
  • CPA required
  • Eight or more years’ experience in accounting, manufacturing experience required
  • Five or more years’ experience leading and managing a team
  • Inventory  accounting experience preferred
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams
  • Outstanding communication skills both written and oral
  • Proficient computer skills required; ERP system experience preferred
