Position Summary:

Responsible for all aspects of inventory accounting; standard costing, reserve calculations and physicals.  Requires the ability to analyze data for costing and determine the proper treatment for a large number of locations quarterly.  Ability to work in cross-functional teams to ensure inventory policies and procedures are consistently being followed.  Manage SOX requirements and documentation of the inventory process.   Prepare internal and external reporting and analysis for all inventory reporting.  This position will also be responsible for the supervision and mentoring of a staff.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent experience required
  • CPA or CMA preferred
  • Eight or more years’ experience in accounting, manufacturing/inventory accounting experience required
  • Five or more years’ experience leading and managing a team
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams
  • Outstanding communication skills both written and oral
  • Proficient computer skills required; advanced excel skills required
