Position Summary:

Responsible for general oversight and defining the scope of work for various capital engineering projects. Manage multi-million dollar projects from conception to completion. Project management of design and field construction for various aggregate plant improvements, new plant installations, process improvement projects, and other construction projects involving mineral resource handling and processing. Effective oral and written communication skills, and computer skills (AutoCAD, AggFlow, Civil design and software, Microsoft office). Must have ability to travel on a moderate basis. Must be able to manage multiple projects in multiple areas throughout the corporation simultaneously.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical or Mining Engineering required
  • Professional Engineer (PE) preferred
  • Bulk material handling experience in mineral resources, preferably aggregates
  • 5 to 10 years of related work experience
  • Project Management experience required
  • Ability to read and understand detailed design drawings (electrical drawings a plus), and provide ovesight for steel fabrication and erection
  • Cement production process experience a plus
