Position Summary:

Responsible for overseeing and managing field construction of various capital engineering projects. In the field project management of design and field construction, various aggregate plant improvements, new plant installations, process improvement projects, and other construction projects involving mineral resource handling and processing. Effective oral and written communication skills, and computer skills (AutoCAD, AggFlow, Civil design and software, microsoft office). Must be able to travel extensively. Must be able to manage multiple projects in multiple areas throughout the corporation as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical or Mining Engineering required
  • Professional Engineer (PE) preferred
  • Bulk material handling experience in mineral resources, preferably aggregates
  • 5 to 10 years of related work experience
  • Field Construction Project Management experience
  • Ability to read and understand detailed design drawings (electrical drawings a plus) and provide ovesight for steel fabrication and erection
  • Cement production process experience a plus
  • Ability to travel 75% to meet job requirements
